Self-care and socials are a very important, healthy and not to mention fun part of life. Yet they are the first things that we drop when life gets tough. We are often made to feel that self-care can be selfish or a luxury. Yet when done regularly it can alter your perspective and set you up to take on daily struggles.

Self-care and socials are an unmissable step when looking after yourself. Don't put them last on your to-do list, put them first.

If none of the below appeal to you, Women Wellness Hub can help with self-care or physical issues such as aches, pains & movement dysfunctions. Have a look at the rest of the website or book in for a remedial & hands-on soft tissue therapy treatment. The treatments can be described as putting together all the best bits from massage, physio and osteopathy.

Explore Something New

Is there anything you have always wanted to try? Something you never got around to doing or maybe you just don't want to do it on your own? Our interests change as we evolve and we evolve when we try new things.

Think stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), getting your hands dirty on a pottery wheel, introduction to golf, photography class, flower arranging, learn how to DIY, jewellery making, creative writing, and many other things. Maybe you have a cool profession or pastime that you want to introduce others to?

Leave me a message in the chat box and let me know what you would like to try or if you have any other ideas. I will try and keep the cost down and hopefully, there will be lots of free activities too.

If any of you ladies can gain from having a group booking then I’m happy to support any women-owned businesses in and around Chester too.

I'll keep you in the loop via email regarding dates.

Book Club

The Storyhouse Women bookclub is held every month at the library in Chester. Calling all like-minded individuals of all ages with a love of books, feminism, and sticking it to the Patriarchy! Come along and gather once a month to chat. This is an all-inclusive group for anyone looking for some interesting discussions and who would like to make a change – one book at a time! 12 books have been carefully selected by volunteer and Storyhouse Woman – Lowri Evans.

Coffee

Come and have a chat, try a new coffee place, treat yourself to a cake, and connect with other women. Whatever your reason, let's get together! This is a casual, cheap, and cheerful way to do so.

An opportunity for women from different backgrounds and lifestyles to connect and support each other. There are no prerequisites for this meet-up. Use this opportunity to pitch your new venture, show off your new baby, meet new friends, find a listening ear, whatever you want or need!

Let me know via the chat box which days and times would work for you. I'll then be able to keep you in the loop via email.

Trade Swap

Times are becoming increasingly more expensive and with that, we have less time than ever. It will always be important to look after ourselves but it's somehow the first thing to be put on hold. Why not leave me a message in the chat box with what you can offer and if there is anything in particular you would like to swap it for. This could be a product or a class or any other service that you think will help like-minded women. Maybe your product is aimed at children but you would like to trade swap for a yoga class for yourself? If it's straightforward I will put you in touch with each other but if there's lots of interest I may start an online forum where you can connect with other women from Chester yourself.
